Hello Dr. Rynne, and thank you for your service in advance. I have a pain in my left side upper back - inside the back. It s an ache every say 6-12 seconds. It s a strong ache. When I thought I had the flu about 2 mos ago, I had the same throb in my right side stomach - lasted about 3 days. Unlike most flus that I ve had, I had no other symptoms, just the aching for days. This happened about 15 years ago in my right stomach side...doctor gave me a shot of cortoson (sp?) and it seem to work quite fast. Just took 2 aleve , but don t like to take many meds. 58 yr old female, 5 4 ; 211 lbs; walk weekdays 1hr/2.5 mile. Could it be gas (haven t walked for about 2 weeks - my degenerative disc disease started acting up and my mid right back to my knee( reall pain here) to my right shin started hurting.. Will see doc in about a month but what could i look to? fibromyalgia, gas, i have no idea? don t smoke
